Resources for parents

Dear parents,
Assalam Alaikum. Mashallah about 60 parents attended the parent meeting on Friday. It was wonderful to see the dedication of the parents who came forward to revive the PTSO, and the parents who are extending a hand to help. This is a beautiful sign of the committed families that are part of Granada. May Allah reward you all and help our school to continue to prosper.

The annual GIS Spelling Bee will take place during the week of September 30 to October 4th. For Grades K-4, the Spelling Bee will consist of spelling games and informal Spelling Bees in individual classrooms. In grades 5-8, students will participate in a traditional Spelling Bee competition within their class. Then the top spellers from each class will compete for the school champion on November 5th. Spelling Lists are posted on the homepage of the GIS website.
