Dear parents,
Assalam Alaikum.
Sincerely,

Assalam Alaikum.
For the first time we are offering an online bookfair with Noorart for Arabic and Islamic books. Please visit the site to find books for your children. Granada receives free books when you purchase books from Noorart between Dec 12th and 21st.
Fundraising Dinner (Sunday, February 3rd)
Please mark your calendar for Granada's annual fundraising dinner on Sunday, February 3rd at the Santa Clara Marriott. This is a different date from the one posted in our calendar. We decided to change the venue of the event and we had to change the date as well. This event will also include the first official alumni reunion. Would you like to help plan this event? Email me (nihadm@granadaschool.org).
Golden Eagle T-shirts
Would you like to get a Granada shirt for your child? We will have T-shirts printed with the Granada mascot next month: PK-2 grades will have yellow shirts, Grades 3-5 will have red shirts, and Grades 6-8 will have black shirts. T-shirt samples are available in display in the school lobby. Different size shirts are available in the Multipurpose Room (Room #5). T-shirt price is $15.
To order T-shirts, please fill an order form. Forms will be sent home today with every student and are available on the school website. Orders received by December 19 will be available after break for students to wear on spirit days, in lieu of their uniform: Jan 25, Feb 25 and Mar 25.
You may send the order form with a check with your child or drop it off at the Front Desk. To order T-shirts with credit card, please see Linda Zielinski in the Business Office on these days:
- Wednesday 12/12 from 2:00 to 2:30
- Friday 12/14 from 3:00 to 3:30
- Wednesday 12/19 from 12:00 to 12:30
Do you know how the Golden Eagle became Granada's mascot? We documented the process here, so please read Our Mascot Story! T-shirts are our first activity to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We really hope every student will have a Granada shirt to wear it to display their pride in our school. Go Golden Eagles!
Sincerely,
Nihad Mourad
